I think the figh was close, but I felt the ref assisted in this fight not ending in a ko. Somehow, he only managed to count to 7 before fury got up. The judge that scored the fight 114-110 is corrupt. Look at the scoring on his card and you will see he shortchanged wilder. Add up the rounds and the scorecard would be 114-112

Number of punches thrown doesn't mean you win a round. Fury dodged and threw jabs. Wilder threw and missed.
If it was a Mayweather fight and he did those 2 to 4 rounds where he ducks and throws a jab now and then, making his opponent miss he would get acclaim for it. Just because it isn't Mayweather doesn't mean the same rules shouldn't apply. Wilder tried to be the aggressor in those rounds. But he missed 9 out of 10 punches thrown.

Now I think the 2nd was close and so was the 3rd but it could have gone either way. One judge gave all to Fury while the other gave all to Wilder. There goes the scores....

He literally was pounded in the face with jabs and short right hands.

Robbed by a British judge. That's a big NO NO. You always give an extra round to your fellow countryman especially if they deserve it like Tyson Fury clearly did. Shame on you mate!!!

Originally posted by asotgod123 View PostThank you. Wilder was the one controlling the ring but because Fury made him miss, the latter was getting credit despite not doing anything. You have to do something to win but he didn't especially in the 1st 4 rounds. Those rounds were too close save for the 1st which I think Wilder won comfortably. Pathetic commentary also makes it look like Wilder is behind on the scorecards. And then you have hating ass Floyd trying to discredit Wilder too. Not surprised.
Wilder got exposed and schooled even with the two shots he landed lol. Floyd had it 5-0 and he was being nice lol. One of the knockdowns should have had him have a point erased for a hit behind the ear, by the way. Hello.

Having criticised Wilder for this poor performance, and not finishing Fury off when had him in the last round, some praise is due to a dramatic finish at least. Regarding judge Rochin's scorecard, I'm not sure how he could give Wilder the first four rounds. Granted, not much was happening but Fury seemed to edge at least two of the first four rounds. And then he coasted along outboxing Wilder, who seemed half asleep, until the knockdowns livened up the fight.

How sad. Obviously the more technical boxer and the one who was landing great all night was Tyson. So many nice clean crisp punches, even if Wilder got some KD's. The better man was Fury. Those stiff jabs was landing all night. And the right hooks was landing on Wilder's chin as Tyson spun around and threw it.
Tyson was slip and sliding, blocking and dodging all those deadly punches Wilder was throwing. It was impressive.
This should at least be a draw or a Win at the most for Fury, not a loss at all. Fury was piling up rounds.
Another black eye in boxing. Always controversial decisions how sad..SMDH
