I've got to watch a replay of this later, no way I was waking up before dawn on a sunday morning. Initial cynical thoughts are that this "draw" is just a way to hide the fact that this was a 2 fight deal all along. Best have my pen and paper ready , and the volume down to not get influenced by the commentators and crowd.

Wilder won by ko. Fury did not beat the 10 count. The ref treated it like it was a low blow and Fury had as long as he needed to recover. When a fighter is on the canvas for 15 seconds, gets up and stumbles around, that is usually a knock out.
If something was in the contract where Fury was allowed longer than the traditional 10 count, I think they should have let the fans know that before the fight.Comment

Because Wilder was hurt and that protection protect him for his potential first knock down of his career. Also don't bash that referee of Wilder vs Fury, because he give the best work ever in that fight for not doing a premature or ****** early stoppage. Fury rise like a champion and put good punches of Wilder in that round 12. And that was in USA; not in England. So stop making excuses for your fighter. Fury owned the one dimensional Wilder like Floyd saw that fight.Wilder didn't even get knocked down. How did Wilder get longer than a 10 count when he never got knocked down?
Lay off the booze. You are making things up.
It isn't being a hypocrite. Tell me another fight where a fighter didn't beat the 10 count but was allowed to continue?
I'm not sure if you are drunk, ******ed or both.Comment

That count was horribly long go and count for yourself and you’ll see.Because Wilder was hurt and that protection protect him for his potential first knock down of his career. The ref had a dog in this fight no doubt about it.Comment

You are probably correct. Fury was knocked out. He couldn't beat the 10 count, so he was allowed however long he needed. Very odd. Not to mention there is no way Fury won 8 rounds.I've got to watch a replay of this later, no way I was waking up before dawn on a sunday morning. Still have never seen anything like the last knock down. Fury literally couldn't move or get up and the ref just let him have all the time he needed. Very su****ious. This is what destroys boxing. You finally get two top fighters fighting each other, and they literally change the rules in the middle of the fight so there can be a rematch.Comment

So the ref protected Wilder, because Wilder didn't go down? If the ref was protecting Wilder, wouldn't he have given Wilder a standing 8 count? The ref protected Wilder, but not counting him out when he never went down???Because Wilder was hurt and that protection protect him for his potential first knock down of his career. Also don't bash that referee of Wilder vs Fury, because he give the best work ever in that fight for not doing a premature or ****** early stoppage. You really are mentally handicapped! No, fair, Wilder didn't counted out! And then the round ended! After just 3 minutes! My God, I never realized that before. Wilder should have been counted out, and shouldn't have had a round end after just three minutes. Huh, maybe Ortiz did win. Why didn't they change the rules to have Wilder lose that fight? That is a good question.Comment

I am sorry, but, Tyson Fury rose from that knock down in time. I knew people was going to use that as a excuse to give Wilder credit, when Fury was the only fighter to absorb that crazy power and connects good combinations after that knock down. If you use the referee excuse, then apply that same excuse in other fights.Comment

What count? Fury was given however long he needed to recover. I think the ref thought it was a low blow and so was giving Fury the five minutes. Never seen anything like that before. If it was a foul, then it should have been a 10-9 round. And if it was a knock down there should have been a 10 count. Maybe something was in the contract allowing Fury extra time in the case of knock downs.Comment

You still haven't mentioned any other fight where someone doesn't make the 10 count and is allowed to continue. You said Wilder shouldn't have been counted out against Ortiz. But Wilder never was knocked down in that fight.I am sorry, but, Tyson Fury rose from that knock down in time. Do you not understand the English language or are you mentally handicapped? I won't make fun of you for being mentally challenged, but you should let people know, because if people know then they won't call you the R word.Comment
