Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury Ends in Controversial Draw

Originally posted by kiaba360 View PostIt was that in particular that I was yelling for. He kept throwing it wide, and Fury kept defending against it. I'm beginning to wonder if he's just clueless. As much as I become enamored with power punchers, Wilder is beginning to piss me off with his lack of development. Fury figured him out and got comfortable too early because Wilder was not giving him much to be concerned with. Fury/Wilder and Gvoz/Stevenson were much similar than I originally thought they would be.

The ref treated that like Fury got hit with a low blow, and had all the time needed to recover. He counted to 10, Fury didn't make it, tried to get Fury to walk towards him and hold out his gloves and Fury couldn't do it. So, the ref just waited and when Tyson finally said he was ready to go again, he was allowed to!
Fury kicked his butt after being out for 3 years and he is ducking Joshua
Wake up dude

It's really ****ing simple

And not only that, but I'm still confused why Fury was allowed to continue when he didn't make the 10 count. That is supposed to be a knock out. Yet the ref gave him extra time, let him stumble around, and after about 20-30 seconds, when Fury was able to stand up again, the ref restarted the action. Very odd.
No need for a rematch, Wilder humiliated him already. I would rather see a rematch with Ortiz. Ortiz was probably ahead on the scorecards for a while. That should be next. Wilder-Ortiz II. Fury did about as good as Berto did against Mayweather. No one wants to see a Floyd-Berto rematch because the fight was so lopsided. Same with this fight. The biggest fight in years and everyone who saw it, saw Wilder destroy him. And then saw it announced a draw. lmao. This is why boxing isn't more popular. When we do get two of the best fighting each other, one fighter dominates with two kd's and the judges ruin everyone's night with that robbery.

Great fight it was heavyweight classic for the ages!
Tyson Fury put on a near shut out but Wilder’s power is not from this world, he consistently KO’s or drops guys much bigger than him weight wise or even height wise as well!
Fury was toying with Wilder at times but Wilder never gave up!
I definitely believe Jack Reiss could’ve started the count much sooner on that second Knockdown! Most refs as soon as Fury got dropped would’ve started the count but he started it as soon as he got close down to Fury, if he’d followed protocol there would be no controversy but as they say most of the time controversy sells!
Wilder showed once again how flawed he is but also how dangerous he is with that thunderbolt power!
Fury showed how great of a boxer he is and how much chin and heart he has as well!
In a rematch Fury would be favored but you can never count out that kind of power Wilder is packing, Fury looked like he was dead and rose back from the grave!
What a fight it was and I’m sure people will tune in for a rematch!

Please just write it out, or do whatever you have to do, but dont reply back to me. You guys not being able to score has ruined discussing post fight.
It’s this simple. 8-4 is a fighter winning by 4 points because he’s won by 4 clear rounds - 116-112.
He gets knocked down twice and that’s 2 points closer, so he wins by 2 points - 114-112.
The judge that scored it 115-111 Wilder scored it 7-5 Wilder plus 2 points for the KD’s. He only gave Fury 5 rounds!

If Fury kicked his butt, why couldn't Fury beat the 10 count. Wilder destroyed Fury.
Oh, now I remember Joshua! He's the guy who had a fan tell him to fight Wilder and Joshua told the fan, to train and become a fighter and to fight Wilder himself! lol. I forgot about that guy.
Fan: Hey, fight the other champ!
Joshua: No, you train and fight him!
Why you bringing up some guy who admitted he wouldn't fight Wilder? Do you mean Ortiz? Wilder did knock Ortiz out (though only with a 10 count) his last fight. I know Ortiz wanted a rematch, but he just lost by ko to him. Don't know how you got Joshua and Ortiz mixed up.
