Wilder's historical stats mean nothing because his only two fights that even matter were against Stiverne (the first time) and Luis Ortiz. Ortiz was 38 (or older depending on his birth certificate authenticity) and hadn't looked great since the Bryant Jennings fight like 3 years earlier. The Stiverne I fight - Wilder ran more than Canelo ran in the first GGG fight. Wilder went from the "Baddest Man on the Planet" and the "Hardest hitting Heavyweight of all time" to getting on his bike and fighting off his back foot.

At least I know, Fury beat Wlad when he was still on his Lineal run, and essentially just zapped all of the confidence out of the Wlad to the point where Wlad just waved the white flag and fought to survive. Fury also beat Del Boy when he was at his best and still undefeated.

I think Deontay could be getting knocked spark out in the later rounds after he gets desperate to try something. If Fury fights Wilder the same way he fought Wlad, Wilder has no chance. Only way Wilder wins is if Fury is a shell of himself following the drugs and alcohol spree.

I wanted to add that this fight may expose Wilder as the Wayne Braithwaite of the heavyweight division.

It's not about excitement or not, Its about you trying to big up Fury when he barely beat a senior citizen Wlad by hardly landing anything. What was the average like 3 punches landed a round, pathetic and far from ever having Wlad fight for survival. If you want to see wlad fight for survival turn on round 5 of the Joshua fight dumb dumb
