Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury - Quiksilva's boxing analyst

WBC Heavyweight Championship and lineal Championship on the line.

    Tale of the Tape

Deontay "The Bronze Bomber" Wilder (USA)
    40–0 (39 KO)

    Height: 6ft 7 in (2.01 m)
    Weight: 212 1⁄2 lb (96.4 kg)
    Style: Orthodox

    Keys to Victory

    - Be passive-aggressive to find Fury's rhythm, counter active, and apply pressure
    - Land a devasting power left hook or a straight-right for a stoppage
    - Cut out the ring if Fury is going to dance and move
    - Unpredictability.

    vs.

    Tyson "Gypsy King" Fury (U.K)
    27–0 (19 KO)

    Height: 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m)
    Weight: 256 1⁄2 lb (116.3 kg)
    Style: Orthodox

    Keys to Victory

    - Lateral movement and general ring iq
    - Feints, set up fake punches for open counters
    - Keep at range and control the fight
    - Unorthodox stance switching from Orthodox to Southpaw

My prediction: Wilder by late round stoppage.

First mistake you casual dosser-fan made? Fury is a switch hitter and is likely to fight southpaw. You part-timer, Yank bum dosser!

I may be a Wilder fan but understand that I like Tyson Fury also. Be open-minded because this fight could go both ways, I'm not favoring Wilder to win because I'm a fan boy I'm favoring him to win because I think he is going to win.

But may the best man win.

We all know how hard Wilder hits. I think he is the hardest puncher in the division. Hits harder than Joshua I believe. But I think Joshua is technically and mechanically better but may be a lot more predictable.

To be fair that probably is the entirety of Wilder's tactical plan.

All heavyweights can ****. Comes down to whether you are prepared to throw yourself into the punch.

Joshua picks his moments. Fury is even more conservative.

Wilder will throw them anytime. Doesn't matter where his feet are. For that reason alone he's nowhere near being a top boxer.

I'd love to see him picked off just to prove that you've got to be a decent boxer to be a champion.
