If the old Fury shows up(unlikely), it will be a rough night for Wilder. Wilder needs to work the body to set ut the head shots, something he doesn't do often. If he hasn't learned to do that, he will have to pop that jab often to set up the right hand but he needs to be aggressive with Fury.
Does Tyson have the ability to make Wilder too scared to throw?

That’s my guess. Both times he’s had “the biggest fight” of his career he was cautious but not scared. He had a plan for Bermaine (jab, circle off the back foot, 1-2) and he shut him out on the cards. He had a plan for Ortiz, wait him out, gas him out, knock him out.I really believe we are going to be a methodical performance from Wilder, i think he knows Fury would on doing his thing with the jerky head and body movement, and i believe Wilder would use a lot of his jab in this fight. Wilder has great speed and he can time any HW and land if he gets it right.
I’m not saying I expect wilder to dominate, I’m just saying I expect him to have a plan and to stick to it.
Wilder hasn’t been taking this time studying Fury, training for a fury, only to go crazyComment

Not at all, I don't think Fury has a mentality where he'd be even remotely happy to 'just go the distance' with what he perceives as a inferior boxer. His self belief is bordering on psychotic, in fact like Stephen Breadman Edwards said today, I think it gives him another level.Wilder did not look good against Ortiz because ortiz is a better boxer than Wilder. Wilder says that he is gonna showcase all his tools but till now, keep in mind the dude is 33, he has only showed a jab that either gauges distance or blind targets, a left hook, and windmill right hands.
I can imagine the fight going the exact same way this time around too. Wilder himself says hes looking for the knockout and I dont have any reason not to believe him. Part of his ego is that he has knocked out every man he faced. Not knocking Fury out is almost like taking and L for him. IF Fury was to lose by decision, which I think is impossible, Fury can stake the claim that he survived Wilders power and that dents Wilders ego. No way wilder wants this to go 12.
Itll probably be a slow first couple rounds. Intense middle rounds. And then someone is probably gonna get knocked out.
On the flip side, I don't think Wilder would be at all disappointed with a decision win, in fact I think it would change a lot of perceptions about him not being a great boxer against someone who is perceived to be a pure boxer/mover at HW. I think Wilder would be looking at winning by any means necessary and would be ecstatic with a W any way he can getComment

A lot of these guys have only seen highlights, and the Ortiz fight and he was hesitant with the jab due to the southpaw counter punching. When does Wilder not fight methodical? Was he throwing a lot of punches vs Washington or Szpilka or Ortiz? No, he only starts getting super aggressive once he gets his fighter hurt. That is the misconception with Wilder. He starts out fights trying to get things started with his jab. Early on he is prone to losing rounds but he is just trying to get the timing down and then goes for the kill. Stiverne rematch was a bit different but he also legitimately dropped Stiverne with the first solid shot that he landed.
Early on this is going to be a bit brutal to watch. A lot of posturing and both guys just pawing with the jab. But then eventually one of them will have to get more aggressive and that's when the fight really starts.Comment

Yep, and this is why I think Fury switches to southpaw in spots in this fight. Wilder's jab against the orthodox fighter once he gets in rhythm is deadly, but against southpaws he is definitely more hesitant.Comment
