All we know and talk about refers to when he was at his prime... I guess he could have made Wilder miss 80% of his shots back then and pull him in his comfort zone... Only problem is I doubt the today's Fury will be half that good and Wilder has that Champ confidence... Unless Fury runs in circles for 10 rounds I don't see how he makes it through the fight... First clean right that goes through will tell us ...

    Let's see how it goes...

Would be fascinating if both acted against their respective stereotypes. Wilder being cautious and boxing and jabbing and not recklessly going for the quick kill. And Fury then having to go for the KO.
Maybe we will see a tentative rd or 2. Then each will decide which way to go.

Again the long layoff, drugs etc should yield a Wilder win. He can get a decision, doesn't have to go for KO if he is the one boxing well.

Wilder did not look good against Ortiz because ortiz is a better boxer than Wilder. Wilder says that he is gonna showcase all his tools but till now, keep in mind the dude is 33, he has only showed a jab that either gauges distance or blind targets, a left hook, and windmill right hands.

I can imagine the fight going the exact same way this time around too. Wilder himself says hes looking for the knockout and I dont have any reason not to believe him. Part of his ego is that he has knocked out every man he faced. Not knocking Fury out is almost like taking and L for him. IF Fury was to lose by decision, which I think is impossible, Fury can stake the claim that he survived Wilders power and that dents Wilders ego. No way wilder wants this to go 12.

Itll probably be a slow first couple rounds. Intense middle rounds. And then someone is probably gonna get knocked out.

No Tyson does not have the ability to make Wilder too scared to throw. He may win or he may lose but Wilder will be throwing bombs at him for as long as the fight goes. You have Fury's speed, accuracy and combination punching ability badly overestimated. If he was this fighting machine you are making him out to be he would have KOed his last cherrypick in the 1st round and Cunningham wouldn't have given him such a hard fight.

Didn’t he just go a boring 12 rounds with the 130th ranked boxer in the world Pianeta? LOL

I still think that Wilder is too explosive for Fury

When does Wilder not fight methodical? Was he throwing a lot of punches vs Washington or Szpilka or Ortiz? No, he only starts getting super aggressive once he gets his fighter hurt. That is the misconception with Wilder. He starts out fights trying to get things started with his jab. Early on he is prone to losing rounds but he is just trying to get the timing down and then goes for the kill. Stiverne rematch was a bit different but he also legitimately dropped Stiverne with the first solid shot that he landed.

Early on this is going to be a bit brutal to watch. A lot of posturing and both guys just pawing with the jab. But then eventually one of them will have to get more aggressive and that's when the fight really starts.

Tyson Fury's size doesn't translate into punching power. After all, he is an arm puncher. He doesn't have the puncher's technique as Luis ortiz does. In addition, unlike Luis Ortiz, Deontay will be able to walk through and eat most of Tyson Fury's punches because for one; He is not a counter puncher and two his punches lack the necessary snap and pop on them to seriously threaten Deontay Wilder.

Wilder will throw, that’s a guarantee, Wilder will not win a technical fight, he knows it. He will windmill if he has to.

Question is, will he land it? And can Fury take it?

I think Wilder can win this fight with his jab if he doesn't get crazy.
