Comments Thread For: Wilder Manager: If Joshua Wants It, Why Doesn't He Do Anything?

ANTHONY JOSHUA must plead with Eddie Hearn to make a deal with Deontay Wilder. The American's manager Shelly Finkel believes Hearn's influence over the WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF champion has blocked the fight from happening. Wilder faces Joshua's fellow Brit Tyson Fury in the early hours of tomorrow as they tussle it out for the WBC title.

Tyson Fury is the damn A-side in the US FFS. Wilder and his team are delusional.

The fight is Wilder vs Fury, not Fury vs Wilder. Wilder is the A-side. The fight is in his country, for his belt, he's got top billing, etc. Anthony Joshua being your favorite fighter doesn't mean you have to lie about everything else.

Fury is the A-side. Wilder knows it, he threw a tantrum at the presser when Fury brought it up, then was almost crying at reporters because Fury been getting more attention. Then he was booed at the weigh-in. Fury is the A-side, carrying Wilder.

Finkel should release those emails where he stated Hearns was asking for more time for the AJ vs Wilder fight and all but admitted that AJ isn’t ready for Wilder!

I mean theres video of AJ being interviewed by Johnny Nelson and telling him he won’t be rushed to fight Wilder and saying his own trainer says he not ready for Wilder until 2020 or 2022!

Look it up on IFL tv on YouTube, the look on Johnny Nelson’s face says it all!

Looks a bit different to me. He just has terrible fashion sense.

I know you're a teenager who started watching boxing yesterday, so you don't understand what an A-side is.

The A-side is the fighter listed on side A of the promotional materials and fight billing. In this fight, the A-side is Wilder.

Typically, the A-side has more say over where the fight takes place as they have more leverage. In this fight, the A-side is Wilder.

Fury is the challenger, coming to the champions' home country. Fury has second billing and will walk first. Fury isn't making more money than Wilder. There's no logical metric by which a reasonable person would say Fury is the A-side. You're just a random idiot on the internet making up your own rules as always.
