Even if he outboxes some of these guys will he be able to get a decision? I've rewatched the Usyk-Bellew fight a few times and I just don't see how anyone could have Bellew ahead, yet two of the three judges had him ahead.
Bellew's success throughout the fight, including the first three rounds, is exaggerated.

Realistically will he be able to get a decision against Joshua or Wilder?
I have hard time believing anyone, not just Usyk, will be able to get a decision against Joshua.
We have already seen fighters be down on the scorecards against Wilder when they probably should have been up.
It's going to be difficult to get a decision against those two I feel.
I had Bellew winning the first 4, but Usyk figured him out by the end of the 5th and all the joy went his way after that. Even if Bellew didn't get stopped, surely Usyk would have taken it on the cards - if a bit narrower than it should have been.
It's the same the world over; the house fighter always gets a slight advantage with the judges whether it's AJ, Wilder, Canelo, or whoever. The only way it will stop is if there is a dramatic change in the scoring system, i.e. if there is a set procedure and not left to the judges individual tastes as to who wins a round.

And you believe Wilder would last 12 rounds fighting like a caveman against a puncher/boxer.

Well known fact, the a side usually always gave judge favor. Hence challengers normally have to win convincingly. Nothing new here since it's been like this since the time of the Greeks. But somehow you think it's favoritism against your fighters..... Worse some of those cards, (some not all) people had the reverse scorecards as you.
Ward and Canelo were the challengers though......... GGG and Kovalev had the belts......

        And yet.........

Same with every AJ fight, judges are always in hearns pocket.

If the Ward or Stephenson fight could be made @ 200Lb then of course he should stay there. If not then he has no choice. Maybe his first venture into H/W could be for the EBU title.
