Fury being a shell of himself isn’t an outlandish claim. He was out nearly three years and damaged his body greatly. I don’t think he was that good to begin with but I do think that’s a legit point. It’s hard to tell what we can expect of Fury.

Two long, tall HW's with a lot of leverage. Lots of things can happen. I think Wilder wins, but nothing will surprise me in this fight. These are two hard guys to defeat, in any situation.

Wladimir fought a good fight against Joshua. I don't think anyone can deny that. Even though he lost he showed more in that fight then he did in a lot of his wins.

Doesn't mean Wlad wasn't shot though. Against someone else he may have been KO'd in round three ... we'll never know. Wlad wasn't the Wlad he had been for 11 years prior to fighting Fury, even he realized it. That's why he retired.

But I liked the fight. I like most fights. AJ is good, even great. But there are others who are great too. AJ does not have a monopoly on greatness, being a champion, or being a world-class fighter. There are others. AJ radical fans need to recognize ... but they won't.

Sites can suggest who is lineal and give whatever opinion they want, but REAL FANS ultimately tell the sites who is what in boxing. And in case you haven't noticed, nearly 100% of news organizations, magazines, boxing sites, press, and boxing fans have all been recognizing Tyson Fury as the Lineal Champ in the fight buildup for MONTHS.

Many of these sites use the opinions of historians and experts, people that vote on the HOF etc. If the fans tell these sites what to do, then the fans don't recognise Fury as lineal.

Better go send some emails to sites like CBZ (who are seen by many to keep the official records of lineal champs) who don't have Fury as lineal, every other site too. None have him. This fight won't be lineal in the history books.
