    Exactly.

If part of this guys struggle was having to take a taxi to school full of substitute teachers in NYC, then i guess about 98% of the world would happily be part of the struggle.

You are clueless. And frankly ignorant and in denial.
Honestly it is truly you who lives in a bubble. You are guessing that it's because blacks lived there.

We could go back and fourth, but the fact of the matter is you have presented zero evidence to back up your claim, that USA is a systematic country of oppression and racism. You have failed many times now, to even come up with one clear cut example in your life of racism - But you have guessed that many things were. A lot of guesswork, that you have been manufactored to believe. You are the ignorant one.

You seem like someone who is at least trying to "get it", so allow me to explain further to you since I know it won't be a waste of time as it would with other posters.

No one in this country needs racism and oppression explained to them. This country was built on it and continues to practice it to the detriment of millions of people (and not only "black" people).

What Radio Raheem did would have been extremely offensive if anyone asked it. No one asks ***ish folks to explain the things that happened to their people in **** Germany, no one asks the *********** to explain the things happening to their people in the West Bank, no one asks the Irish to explain what the English did to them.

We know horrible things happened or continue to happen and if we want details we do the research ourselves.

Asking Wilder that question served to minimize the fact of the oppression. Again, it was saying that "your struggle and that of your people was so meaningless and inconsequential that folks who should know all about it need it explained".

That's why Wilder went off and he was right to, especially when the question was coming from someone who undoubtedly knew better.

Radio Raheem was not giving Wilder a platform to talk about injustice. He was fishing for a soundbite and Wilder called him out for exactly that.
You don't need to explain America's ****ed up history to me. My people know all too well. I'll try and find time to watch it.

Sure, but this happens all over, whether it's a class thing or a colour.

There's many countries in the world where you're simply not getting access to certain housing or into schools in certain areas if you're from what's seen as the lower class. It happens in so many countries.

It's terrible, but it didn't only happen to you, it happens all over the world where countries have class systems. There's similar housing situations all over Europe such as HLM housing systems in france, Council houses in the UK, what they call Edilizia Sovvenzionata in Italy etc. etc. etc. All designed to house certain people and the schools, transport and things there are all suffering from lack of funding.

It's not only you that has experienced it. It's a worldwide thing.

That's the point here. Nobody is saying you are wrong, but you're acting like only certain people are put in this situation when it's not the case.

I can start posting articles and research but you would find a way to deny that.

I’m not using racism as a crutch because I call it out. I’ve navigated the system well and moved up the socio-economic ladder. I’m advocating for the millions that are stuck. As far as black people, we are doing justfine. We now have the most educated group of ********** including black women, and change is gradual but there’s still a lot to change. And you have to do your research my friend.

I like the rationale. Just because it happens to a lot of people all over the world that we should suck it up. I won’t stop calling out racism in this country try because too many fought to get blacks people to this standing. Until I dont have to put “black “ in front of American...I won’t stop calling America and the 30% that won’t let go racism out.

So yeah, Deontay sonned Radio Raheem and dude deserved it.
At the end of the day, this is exactly wanted Raheem wanted though. He wants a boxer to say some over the top **** so he can get more clicks, which is exactly what happened. I logged onto FB this morning and a friend of mine who has never mentioned boxing had seen the vid and shared it.

But at the end of the day, today we live in a much fairer society in our countries. Sure you can still encounter racism on an individual level but that's never going to change, ignorance will always exist in some people.

Tell me what is stopping you right now or your children being anything they want to be in the present day? nothing at all. Will you children have the opportunity to be a politician, a doctor, a lawyer? yes. Will they be subjected to slavery? no.

We all know the history and anyone with an ounce of decency would say that it was abhorrent but that was the past. We can't dwell on the past forever, because how far back do you want to go? what's the cut-off point?

At some point, we have to accept that terrible things happen in the past and leave it there and realise we live in much better times where we all have opportunities and the only thing that will truly hold you back is your mentality and lack of application. That's not erasing history of forgetting your roots, it's just an acceptance that history has been unkind to people of all backgrounds at some point or other, depending on how far back you want to go.
You know as a kid I never felt like I lived in a racist country. It wasn’t till I had the FORTUNE of going to all white schools (high school and college) and living in all white neighborhoods, and working in all white establishments both pre-professional and and as a professional that I became englightened.

I guarantee you Deontay wasn’t crying racism until he got exposure to the depth of racism in both corporate and non corporate. America.

Let me ask you. You’re so quick to shut down my perspective. I’m a son of immigrants from Jamaica. My parents grew up literally bathing in rivers and little to no electricity. Moved to nyc where they encountered systemic racism for the first time as black people. Humbled themselves and worked their ass off in the grimiest areas of NYC, tried to get their kids in better schools by lying. I’ve been the only black kid in a lm entire building. Have you?
How are you going to tell me the perspective of what it’s like to be black in America or that I live in a bubble, when my entire life is literally trying to mesh in a white world? Have you tried to assimilate in a black world as a white person? If so, I wouldn’t be able to tell you anything about your struggles in it. Pay ********** the same respect and give them the benefit of the doubt. Millions of people can’t all be crying wolf can they? Can’t possibly get all the monkeys to behave and think the same without it being somewhat real, right?
