Wilder wasting nervous energy, playing Fury's game

Just watched the presser, no way to win a psychological battle with Fury, he is certifiable. How can you win mind games with a crazy person?

I am not sure if any of this affects the fight, but I can see Wilder getting reckless and Fury catching him with some big counters.

Fury looked really shook to me during the face off and I'm a Fury fan btw.

If the fight goes the way the presser did that's the perfect analogy.

Wilder starts out collected, calm. Fury does a lot of subtle maneuvering, makes Wilder look bad. Wilder gets frustrated, lashes out, looks even worse. Fury wins.

but who knows what will happen.

i can actually see fury backing out of range after a feint and then wilder kinda leaping in with a big, long, right and fury being ready and catching wilder square with a counter...might trouble wilder....but wilder is tough and he will survive such a circumstance imo

if wilder gets reckless its because of confidence...i dont think any trash talk or animosity is going to play into it...wilder is more focused than that...i dont think fury is in his head and he could really care less about that stuff.....wilder was just playing the part...after the fight hell prob be buddy/buddy with fury

Wilder is always a ball of energy. Let's be honest, Wilder knows what he needs to do, he is not winning a boxing match over 12 rounds. He is gonna take big dudes head off later in the fight. Fury is gonna smother him all night if he's smart because wilder hasn't the slightest clue how to fight out of range of his big right hand.

He reacted as you would when someone has completely lost it in front of you, with caution.

I'm not a big reader into body language during face offs, or pre-fight stuff, etc. But this is Wilder's first big dance so we'll see how he reacts in the ring, I'm more concerned when a fighter has got emotionally involved and too amped up before the bell can lead to a bad start in the ring, and a bad start for Wilder won't be good. He looked emotional there today

Wilder is indeed tough, I think we can safely say his chin is solid, on the flip side I see a lot of people sleeping on Fury's power, I think he has more pop then given credit particularly when he sits down on a shot

I think people sleep on Wilder's speed and jab, those qualities make him a pretty coherent boxer, but of course he is always looking for check mate

Deyonce is going to get schooled just like Jeff Lacy. Fury will beat the piss out of him.

                    NO.

This will be only Tyson's 2nd title fight and his first outside of Europe...this is Wilder's 9th.

And Deontay has literally fought in front of millions.

If you think this is about who is ready for the moment, you may have things a bit skewed.

As far as Wilder being emotional before a fight, aint nothin' new.
