Laughable! considering Adonis Stevenson is sure to make it in the HOF ; Sergay would need a miracle vs. Elieder Alvarez and get a couple more top ten wins and it still wouldn't equal to the lineal championship that 'Superman' holds along with nine straight title defenses ( possibly ten vs. the 'Nail' Oleksandr Gvozdyk ).

Bro, Kathy Duva and Mainevents forced the WBC president to call a purse-bid, they got it. What happened next? Keep in mind both were already on separate networks ( HBO-Showtime ) : Stevensons team was ready, and just wanted the highest bidder, Duva got scared that they would lose the purse-bid because she had ties with HBO ; incidentally now that HBO is ending their boxing program Duva is lost and needs to find another platform.

Yes! Adonis is lineal, he has nine straight defenses against top ten, top five competition and multiple former world champions. This started at the age of 35! Thats remarkable, most are out of the sport by then. With this weekends defense vs. another top five in Oleksandr Gvozdyk that makes ten straight defenses!

Kovalev was a good fighter but he always seemed to get elevated based on people not liking Haymon/Stevenson moreso than what he accomplished in the ring.

I always wanted to see the fight and it was sad that both of their management did things at different times to prevent the fight from happening.
