Kovalev is a hype job, Usyk is a hype job because Bellew was old when he beat Bellew, Kovalev was physically and mentally shot when Ward beat him but Ward isn't a hypejob, uhhh now Im confused.... difference is, shot Kovalev is Ward's best win, Bellew is not even top 3 for Usyk. And cruiserweight Bellew is a lot better than drained 175 Bellew regardless of age.

I mean, maybe if you asked Stevenson, he would be consistent and say Ward's "win" over Kovalev says nothing about Ward either, but somehow I doubt it.

He knocked Bute out in sparring then spent a year calling Bute out but he would never answer the call. Pascal wanted 50-50 purse then turned around and took less than 50-50 to fight Kovalev. Hopkins wanted to be A side and went to HBO to fight Kovalev for 75-25 split. Ward never express any interest even after Stevenson called him out multiple times. Froch ducked him when he was no1 contender and fought Groves and that was the right move for him cause he was not getting up if Stevenson tagged like Groves did. Chilemba, Miranda and Direll, who cares, you be the first to complain about cherry picking if Stevenson wasted time with these guys.
