I will state the obvious for the caneedle fans. He only has faced (1) “great” fighter still in his prime Mayweather and he lost. And let me emphasize “great” AT THE TIME caneedle fought them.

1. Cotto-was past his prime
2. Mosley-was past his prime
3. Lara- not a “great” fighter, will not be in the Hall of fame
4. Trout, not a “great” fighter will not be in the Hall of Fame
5. GGG- arguably beat Caneedle TWICE

If everything goes well with the Rocky fielding fight, it should not take long to see if what team canelo is claiming is true. We will find out once they name the cinco de mayo opponent. I believe him though

Shadow, Golovkin didn't run in the rematch. I personally thought he won others thought he lost but that's beside the point. What he did for better or worse wasn't running.

2019 canelo will fight Daniel Jacobs and Demetrius Andrade !!!

I would much rather see him fight his mandatory Charlo but no way I could call it a duck if he fought those two guys back to back.

If he does end up fighting them I would like to see Charlo fight GGG and Saunders, then they meet up in 2020.
