Wilder is banking on a lucky shot. What else can he offer? A power jab?

you are wrong. Here is how is went down.

Aj-pay me 50 million I will sign tomorrow.
Wilder team - 50 million is offered.
      Hearn- show proof of funds
Wilder team- they showed proof and Hearn admitted it.
Aj team - we want the money upfront
Wilder team - agrees to pay some funds upfront
Hearn- where will the fight be held ?
      Wilder team - the U.S
Hearn - what channel will carry the fight ( who cares if it on the Cartoon Network as long as you get paid )
      Team wilder - showtime PPV
Hearn - sorts guys Aj wants the fight in the U.k

That is how the 50 million went down.

Basically Hearn wasted everyone time , mislead us all to think the fight would happen, wasted about a month of negotiations and for what nothing .

This is why wilder is making his demands. He does t want to waste his time with flat fees and bull**** . By the way no HW fighter in history took a flat fee for a fight of this magnitude.

Make Joshua a unified World Heavy Weight Champion passed, Wilder (more fights in, better fighter, not a coward) failed. Make Joshua millions of pounds passed. Wilder based in USA where there is more money, still waiting for that big pay day. Failed, in fact the failure Hearn has offered him more money to fight AJ and Whyte. Make Joshua into a super star and number one Heavy Weight in the World. Pass. Wilder still not there, Fail. Hopes by beating Fury to claim that number one spot, but will still have to fight AJ to get the big money and unified. Hearn making big fights and money for his fighters Win Win...if i am risking life and limb and a short career i want to make sure i get paid so I know who i would want promoting me. Even Fury is now wishing he took the Hearn Aj route as his fight with Wilder is not doing the numbers they thought it would in the USA.

Too rich for his blood with a slim profit margin and his goods could get damaged win or lose. He has been outbid before, but only with AJ has he offered less money as a counter and justified it by saying that it would be Wilder's best payday. In America, money talks, it screams and yells. The best bid will get the fight.
It’s very simple. AJ wants home court advantage as the A side. He earns virtually. $25 million every time he fights. Fighting wilder in Wembley he would have made at least 40 million especially with the intention of just paying Wilder 15 million.

I’m not going to even talk about if the 50 million was feasible and if the networks were amenable with Joshua because even if everything was kosher I do believe Joshua had no intention of fighting Wilder in the states and I don’t blame him.

I can only talk for myself here but when you are at home with your Mrs and she is in your home you are down for whatever. She dares to get bright or talk slick you have your overhand right poised for action. However , when you are in enemy lines and you are at her parents house you feel uncomfortable. Your opponent then gains confidence and she asks you questions or request chores That she wouldn’t dream about doing if I was home. For example

“ go to the shop and get my dad a crate of beer and not even hand me the money. And I’m nodding and walking out the door like I’m excited.

As an AJ fan the fight has to be at home in order to increase his chances of winning. Can you imagine Joshua’s muscle fatiguing quicker in the desert? Nope it’s Wembley I’m afraid Wilder fans. You wed do the same if you were in a position of power. I couldn’t visualise Ortiz offering Wilder serious Cheddar to fight in Cuba and Wilder accepts

Wilder should really piss off Hearn by voluntarily losing a close decision to set up the rematch. THEN KO AJ !!!

With AJ's last 4 fights having been at either Wembley or Principality, and AJ having been on PPV for all of those fights in the UK, the people involved can know for certain the minimum amount of revenue for the fight.

Wilder is only just now headlining his first PPV. His gates haven't come close to Joshua's. The only reason to think the fight does better financially in the US is if you only consider the revenues generated by megastars like Mayweather, Pacquiao and Canelo, and ignore other fights that have been PPV like Ward - Kovalev and flopped

If Wilder loses there will be an immediate rematch. Therefore postponing the fight and from that point the fight against AJ loses some of its importance. As most want to see both of these guys undefeated at the time of their fight.

I would think Hearn should have a much improved offer now. I mean Canelo just signed for 300+ million. So money shouldn't be an issue with a fight of this magnitude.

I still don't believe this fight happens. I feel like some BS is gonna block it again. Plus if Fury wins it ain't happening next anyways lol

Wilder fans are not even interested in what the offer is they are just happy to keep talking about the 50 million
Broad statements are a kin to an old mans rants. The first two people to bring up the $50 million on this thread were you and another AJ fan on the page before you. Immediately makes your post irrelevant. Why not just comment on your perceived opinions and leave the opinion of others out of it? Your post happens to also be erroneous and ill conceived, as Hearn revealed earlier that he was working on a new offer that he will present to Wilder on December 2nd. Finkel was asked about that offer, and this article was a text response from Finkel as it pertained to that specific offer. So no, Finkle doesn't have this offer on his desk.
