          ward is exploring both fights, but AJ is his preference. if he fights usyk for the undisputed cruiserweight title and loses, there's zero interest in him ever going to heavyweight. whereas he can lose to AJ, have a respectable showing, and he still has the option of finding a big fight at 200 pounds.
