Every one right. His defense is his biggest flaw. He gets hits a lot relative to an elite boxers.

Perhaps Thurman could counter and move like he has done recently.

Spence gets hit clean with single shots because he's so intent on breaking down opponents.

It's difficult to hit him with TWO hard single shots (i.e. right hand/ left hook combo) due to him suddenly remembering to be defensively responsible when you do catch him but this is boxing...one clean single shot could easily cause all the dominoes to fall.

The first half of the Easter fight and the second half of the Broner fight does not make me confident that Mikey is the one to do it. Thurman has great one shot power but doesn't want the fight. I love that Crawford closed out the Jose Benavidez Jr. so I put him at the top of the pile but he's going to HAVE to make Spence respect him early by standing his ground.

Should Spence go up to 154, however, I can name four or five fighters that would give him all types of trouble.

no real head movement and is not defensively sound. he may also be using PEDs which help with stamina that might be an issue too. I do believe spence is suspect there's just too many question marks around him and the lack of drug testing.

Dude's very much like a WW Golovkin (though I may catch some flak for saying that) - very solid fundamental technique, but sets his punches so they have real power, but this also slows him down - doesn't really overcommit or go for the one punch but relies on the heavy hands to break guys down, until an opening comes... and in most cases it will work. It's a very effective formula as shown by Golovkin.

Downsides - a vulnerability to movers and speed, relies on gauging the distance precisely to avoid incoming fire because too much head movement interrupts his ability to fire back on demand. Troubled by movers - especially lateral ones. May also struggle if ever forced onto the back foot - though I don't think we'll see that soon. Errol is a big, strong, kid.

He doesn't move his head a whole lot. He's known have questionable defense as Brook won a fair amount of rounds in their fight. Against Lamont Peterson he showed improved defense but I think I see what Mikey sees.
