How do you beat Errol Spence?

I think people are underestimating Mikey's ability to take a punch and I feel Mikey will be successful in spots. But Spence will impose himself on Mikey in the end, the same way he did with Kell Brook a bigger Welterweight with good boxing ability. Spence should win a UD.

I think you need to be able to outbox him on the back foot yet still hit hard enough to stop him from just walking through your punches. You’ve also got to be durable and be able to work at a good pace for 12 rounds.
Crawford would have a good shot at beating Spence IMO.

I just rewatched peterson vs spence. Ive always been a critic of Peterson but Ive seen him enough to admit he can **** and box. Peterson had no effect on the outside and some success inside but the power was there. Spence uses his front foot and range very well.

you have to make him go backwards, have an amazing chin because u will take shots in the process, have a 12 round motor because he gets stronger as the fight goes on, and you need to punch hard enough to make him feel it so he is discouraged///

I agree. I see some people saying “Stay in Errol’s face!” IMO that’s a good way to get knocked out.

I think you must beat Spence with foot speed and sharp counters. You are right about durability as chances are you will be eating some hard leather in the process of trying to outbox him.

Prime Floyd is the best example of a fighter who I think meets all the criteria. Crawford might also but I’m not sure.

When u get inside on Spence he hits his opponents hard enough on his way out not to eat a counter and pushes off his lead foot back into his range. The rare times when Peterson had luck inside, he only landed 1 good punch at a time because spence hit him as he went back into range only to throw more...

A boxer with Great footwork...lateral movement...Speed...Timing..A1 Defense...reach..**** load of Stamina and a respectable punch to keep him off you. Basically someone special with great boxing skills who can adjust in and out of the Ring. I think the man to beat Spence is Terence Crawford
