Al Haymon checks off of all of my events I like all the profit, man- Drake non stop
    From genius.com:

"None of Haymon’s fighters have third-party promoters, therefore he is paid to coordinate events for his athletes and subsequently receives a hefty paycheck. Drizzy feels similarly seeing as it is estimated he charges*$350k-$600k*for a show."

Why have ticket sales for Wilder/Fury been so lacklustre? Are the prices too high or is LA just not a fight town?
Maybe because Ortiz is Cuban and Cubans love boxing

Should of had the fight in the U.K. it would have sold out in no time

If you were a fighter and was getting a cut of the gate which would you choose:

Selling 75,000 tickets with a gate of 10M?

          or

Selling 16,000 tickets with a gate of 12M?

They're just trying to drum up interest , Wilder has not had a strong following outside Barclays where he has defended his titles so it's anyone guess to how the fight does. I can't imagine two undefeated heavyweights won t sell out . Wilder s lack of excitement of opposition and being stationary in the states has not helped his appeal.

What are you trying to say? I have family members who’ve worked with Haymon in the music industry. I know what I’m talking about lol. He is one of the most respected guys in the music industry.

Like AJ or not but he's the cash cow and that's a proven fact .

Highly unlikely that this is a stunt. Number of tickets available and number sold, as well as comped, and give aways most all be reported to the WBC, the Federal trade commission and the Board of state athletic commissions. Before new tickets can be released it has to be approved by the venue as well as the WBC. So as I said it's highly unlikely that this was a stunt.

I personally think Wilder should have fought Fury in the UK. I believe it would have been a bigger fight there. But these promoters know where the money is, I doubt they would intentionally do anything that would hurt their pockets in the long run.

The gate won't do $12 million, not even close. And guess what? That's fine. If it does $4-5 million it would be good.
