Should of had the fight in the U.K. it would have sold out in no timeComment

They're just trying to drum up interest , Wilder has not had a strong following outside Barclays where he has defended his titles so it's anyone guess to how the fight does. I can't imagine two undefeated heavyweights won t sell out . Wilder s lack of excitement of opposition and being stationary in the states has not helped his appeal.Comment

I agree, usual marketing strategy ..taking people for fools ...these two are really not ticket sellers , never have been so i doubt they suddenly start selling tickets after sharing 60 odd fights between them with little fan base .. Like AJ or not but he's the cash cow and that's a proven fact .
As much as I want this fight to do well, I don't buy this. Everything I've heard about this fight suggests that ticket sales have been disappointing. Hell, Tyson Fury himself was saying that he would have sold more tickets if the fight would have been in Manchester, that's not really what you'd come out with if tickets were subject to "overwhelming demand"
Highly unlikely that this is a stunt. Number of tickets available and number sold, as well as comped, and give aways most all be reported to the WBC, the Federal trade commission and the Board of state athletic commissions. Before new tickets can be released it has to be approved by the venue as well as the WBC. So as I said it's highly unlikely that this was a stunt.Comment

I personally think Wilder should have fought Fury in the UK. I believe it would have been a bigger fight there. But these promoters know where the money is, I doubt they would intentionally do anything that would hurt their pockets in the long run.Comment

The gate won't do $12 million, not even close. And guess what? That's fine. If it does $4-5 million it would be good.Comment
