Did GGG promise 154 or 168 for a big fight? Yes or No? Did GGG's own promoter tell the world in 2015 that they had no problems doing a catchweight with the winner of Canelo/Cotto? Yes or No? So why the phuk did when Canelo win they refuse to go down weight? Killed the fight over weight. They were the B side and demanded the A side jump up to 160 for the first time ever and fight GGG. They had the option nut up and fight Canelo on his terms and get the fight in 2016 or sit your azz down and wait for Canelo to move up to 160 in 2017. I've never seen someone make so many excuses to defend a duck. And you do so strictly off Canelo bias. If it was any other fighter, you'd have something negative to say, but since you love Canelo you make excuses. Bottom line is catch weights are lame ways to either duck a fight or weaken an opponent that you fear. It was weak when Canelo wanted it for ggg and weak when ggg wanted it for ward. You probably had a problem with catch weights when pac was doing it but now that it's Canelo you're good with it. Real boxing fans don't support catch weights. Fan boys defending their heros do. Now if canelo really needed to grow into 160 as he said after beating cotto, then why was his next fight vs a former light weight in khan? Why was his fight after that dropping back down to 154 to weight bully Liam Smith? This got him ready to all of a sudden take a fight at 163.5 pounds?? You can never totally rule out a guy with the natural power Lemieux has. Saunders played the matador with DL & made him look ****** but Canelo ain't about that, it would be more of a fight than a boxing match which gives Lemieux a puncher's chance. Sure, Canelo goes in a big favorite but it's a fun fight.
