I made a thread a long time ago where I showed a lawsuit between black concert promoters in the 80s and wme agency. Haymon wasnt involved but his name was dropped a good number of times as well as business practices/strategy.Comment

Hmmm guess its not much of an interview. Just a couple quotes. That Ebony Men magazine interview from 1994 I guess I've never seen cuz this is a Jet article about the Eddie Murphy tour.
But this is it, from '92, cuz that Charlie Murphy pic is there lol. While this isn't a interview there is some interesting lil Haymon tidbits, but not much. I remember at the time of finding this it was amazing doe lol. Researching Haymon is like researching bigfoot.
And randomly while looking for that I found his thesis from college.
"The market structure of the concert production industry in Boston with emphasis on barriers to entry
Author: Alan Haymon
Dissertation: A.B., Honors Harvard University 1977"

BLACK ENTERPRISE is the ultimate source for wealth creation for African American professionals, entrepreneurs and corporate executives. Every month, BLACK ENTERPRISE delivers timely, useful information on careers, small business and personal finance.
This like blurb is interesting just due to the guys he's been blurb'd about with. Berry Gordy. Russell Simmons. Q. Michael Jackson. Don Cornelius.Comment

I was watching an old soul train episode and I kid you not Don mentioned Al Haymon as one of the performers promoter or manager can't remember. This was an 80s episode.Comment

Davis-Mares is a big fight (right)?
I think that will be the week before the Pac-Broner PPV as a lead in.
Same as Porter-Ugas as the lead in to Spencd-Garcia the week before.Comment

As I posted weeks ago...Fox Will Be Used For Exposure For These Fighters Before Big Fights Over On Showtime and/or Showtime PPV. Same format that UFC used while they was with Fox basically
I think it is great for both Fox and Showtime actually.
Great Interview! Props to Kurt Emhoff, always have very informative interviews the ones with Tim Carter and Lou Dibella and Kathy Duva was good stuff as wellLast edited by sicko; 11-19-2018, 02:49 PM.Comment

I asked Showtime head Stephen Espinoza here at the #PacquiaoBroner presser about sharing talent pool with Fox and he said “the weight of that responsibility falls with PBC” and analogized them to the NFL. “It doesn’t serve the NFL well if they put all their good games on CBS.”

Espinoza brought up Dmitry Bivol as a soon to be free agent they are looking into. Believes Sho has the best opponents — thus, future— for Bivol in Adonis Stevenson, Badou Jack, Marcus Browne, and Eleider Alvarez—says Alvarez will definitely be with Sho after the Kovalev fight.

Interesting, obviously would make sense if Alvarez returns to SHO. They would pretty much have majority of the top LHWs. But things can change if Gvozdyk beats TR. That will create a complete sh^t storm with one belt on SHO, another on ESPN and another on DAZN.
If Stevenson beats Gvozdyk, then SHO could have the WBC/WBO along with Jack. It would be in Bivol's best interest to sign with SHO/PBC.Comment
