Why are these ******s debating the 50 million still? Are they so new to the sport that they think that at every negotiation, they open a briefcase full of $100’s before signing the contract?

It was my first time ever as a boxing fan I’ve ever witnessed a promoter ask for “proof of funds” and now all these women are jumping all over it.

While neither side exactly covered themselves in glory during the failed negotiations for the fight, Hearn was by far the most obstructionist and seemed to make himself deliberately difficult to deal with, and it was blatantly obvious that he was just stalling for time until the WBA mandated the Povetkin fight, ie. the one Hearn clearly wanted to actually make all along. Early on he just kept making these bizarre and insulting offers, kept insulting Wilder's promoters, ignoring all attempts by the other side to communicate etc. etc. when at the end of the day the sensible deal to make was staring everybody in the face since day 1, ie. Wilder takes something between 30 and 40 percent and the fight gets staged at Wembley some time in September. I don't know if it's because he was genuinely afraid of Joshua losing to Wilder or if he wanted the DAZN deal to go through first, but neither is a satisfactory explanation for weaseling out of a fight that was highly in demand for boxing fans around the world and could have and should have easily been made. Obviously you could say that that's just Hearn and that you can't really blame Joshua for it, and I don't think Joshua is scared of Wilder or anything like that, but he wasn't exactly proactive in pursuing the fight and I just get the sense that he does what Hearn tells him.

The problem with that offer was BT's involvement. A problem i believe was purposely sort out to prevent a fight if Joshua accepted without seeing the terms.

There's no doubt you're new to boxing. You can't even recognize competitive fights and can't decipher why a PP V should have actual competitive fights for 70 dollars.

Anything in large amounts over 10 million has to have a income source proven .You have to be a real jerk not to ask the primary source and equity of someone claiming they have 50 million who puts a 24 hour deadline on it . Don King said no 50 million deal can made through e mails or no stipulations, but you the expert find that bizarre .

Yes, they refused a meeting, but this was after they'd been stonewalled and blocked dozens of times so they obviously got frustrated and concluded (probably correctly) that Hearn wasn't serious about anything and the meeting wouldn't have been productive. And accusations of their side not being clear with their offers rings rather hollow when Hearn sent over a counteroffer contract with no venue or date on it.

Sky has rights to Joshua fights. Joshua has his own deal with Sky. Sky aren't going to pay for a fight when they are already entitled to them.

Again, you are an uneducated, inexperienced amateur child. You have no idea how PPV fights work. When a PPV is proposed, the distributor makes an offer to minimize risk for the promotion and a negotiation takes place on what kind of guarantees of success the distributor will make.

They were never stonewalled. They agreed to meet and then cancelled. Sent an offer and refused to show terms. Negotiated with a rival UK broadcaster, which would have made the fight impossible.
