Comments Thread For: Josh Kelly: Usyk Not Ready For Joshua, Can He Take The Power?

OLEKSANDR USYK is not ready to step up and challenge Anthony Joshua at heavyweight. That's according to Josh Kelly, the British welterweight starlet who produced a first-round stoppage of Fabian Castillo on the undercard of Usyk's win over Tony Bellew on Saturday night.

Of course he's not ready. He needs to fight 2 or 3 contenders first to guage where he's at. The only reasyfor him to jump into a championship fight is the payout.

Be careful, Josh - Usyk fangirls get triggered very easily. Now his twitter will be full of hysterical freak outs claiming he's not got a clue and is secretly against eastern european fighters. Fangirls don't handle critiques too well.

But what about Bellew Left hook, Sky Sports told me that when Bellew lands, Usyk will be in deep water as he never fought anyone like Bellew.

I think Aj Usyk fight would be like the Aj vs Pov fight. Early success but Aj catches him late.

We don't know who'd win right now unless they fight. Josh would be favourite.
But I agree usyk would be wise to test waters first to see if it's for him to fight josh

Wouldn't make any sense to put Usyk against AJ until he's had a couple of carefully selected fights at the weight. The fight would also make a lot more money after some careful building.

so much the and fear in only one post.

I think Usyk cannot handle AJ at the moment , but what he has done so far is impressive.

Well, when you put it like that then I' have to admit I'm terrified. I think Usyk would school Joshua like he did Bellew. Did you see the way he was outboxing Belllew? The judges agree with me. And make no mistake, Tony Bellew is a world class fighter., without a shadow of a doubt. Nobody can deny that.

I keep hearing this, but I think they're the least toxic fan base I've ever come across.

I was not talking about the fight. Do not change the subject.
