The name of the game is "Prize Fighting!" The BIGGER the opponent, the BIGGER the prize! "Scared money, don't make money!" Salute to Mikey Garcia! I applaud his efforts! He's following in the footsteps of the great ones! I wish him luck! He's definitely gonna need it!

Who the fk would resign with Bob without any big money fight on the horizon or as being part of the deal? This kid Crawford loves taking no risks for little reward.

Crawford made $3M for Horn and $3.625M for Benavidez. That is big money.

It would be perfect for Crawford to go to the UK for Brook! It would draw a direct comparison to Errol Spence Jr.! I actually think Brook/Hearn would be the ones afraid of the fight @ 147! Would love to see it though! That would be Crawford's first real test @ WW! If Khan is scared of Brook, he might as well fight Crawford! He will save face, win a title in front of the UK fans, or get whooped and cash out! It's a win-win!

That's not a bad argument. He did make good bread for those two fights and those were lock easy fights, so I can't blame him there. Arum clearly overpaid to resign Crawford, but Crawford sold his legacy away. I can't imagine signing with Haymon and fighting and beating those guys wouldn't turn Crawford into a huge PPV star where he'd earn more though if he's really that good.

            What's your thoughts on:

            a) Crawford vs. Khan

            b) Crawford vs. Brook

            c) Would Arum make the fight? Hearn just brought Hooker to ESPN! That should count for something?

They're both better options than Kavaliauskas!

Do you honestly think that Kavailuaskas would beat Ugas, were they to fight?

Lol. Glad that you can make Viktor Postol, but why don't you actually name the guys that Crawford fought to "clean out the division", so to speak.

Even if you insist on calling him "trash", Broner and Sergey Lipinets-Peterson aren't scrubs, especially if the only name for Crawford that you're willing to stand by is Postol.

If he holds his own, but simply ends up succumbing late to Spence's size, Mikey Garcia loses nothing, he's still WBC 135lb champion, and would be coming off of a fighter where 40000+ would've likely have seen him fight, his entrance to PPV would be well on its way, and he'd have had a good three-month run of his name being talked up across FOX/FS1 and Showtime.

The only way this turns out bad for Mikey Garcia would be if he gets throttled in 3 one-sided rounds.

$3m a fight, fighting 2-3 times a year, for the next 3-4 years, would earn Terence Crawford $25m-$30m.

Paying out his camp, camp expenses, taxes, etc, and Crawford likely has $15m running through his hands from here until 35.

Crawford simply didn't want to bet on himself

Brook has 2 back to back KO loses, he's a shot fighter, same with Khan with 3 KO's already, those british guys will never be the same and now - who has the better chance to KO Crawford - Kavalyauskas or Brook, Khan; talking about KOing Crawford because of lately (always) non of european boxer would have a chance to decision an american boxer in US, so, to beat Crawford you gonna have to knock him out or drop him at least 2-3 times, are those Brooks and Khans capable of doing it? we better watch competitive fights then just some names
