Saucedo needs to retire no more fights he takes punches to cleanly and is not reacting right after getting hit, tragedy waiting to happen if he continues to fight.

The guy has no lateral movement what-so-ever. He should have done like Sugar Ray Robinson and took up tap dancing for a year. May improve his footwork cause now he has none.

Yeah but Hooker is nothing but a Tommy Hearns want-to-be. All he can do is the one-two; jab and overhand right. That's it. He will be exposed the first time he fights someone good.

It may already be too late but Saucedo definitely needs a change in trainers to have any success on a championship level. He is a pressure fighter, that will not change but Sanchez trains him like he's a one punch KO brawler which he is not. He will continually block punches with his face unless he learns some foot work, head movement or how to block properly. He would probably benefit from a Roach or Garcia since they are pressure style trainers but they teach more defensive responsibility that Sanchez's style.

He's nothing like Tommy Hearns. He's not a freakishly tall guy with a big punch who likes to fight on the inside with short hooks. What makes him a Tommy Hearns want-to-be?

I wouldn't speak too soon about that. Matias maybe but Verdejo still has to prove he can beat a C+/B level fighter.

You mean take your job? Just kidding but yeah if he can't make serious adjustments soon, he will be too shot to compete.

It just goes to show Golovkin's class and durability. Sanchez's corner instructions when things aren't going the way of his boxer are pure desperation and basically just "Do more of the same!". It's a shame that Golovkin is older now and will probably not change since Sanchez's style has been so indoctrinated into his mind.
