Im more of a fan of Marquez than Cotto

I think at weights above 140 cotto was somewhat of a fabrication, he obviously was a PPV cash generator so was given a nice easy ride for the most part.

At 140 though he was the real deal and I think he builds a lead and is smart enough to hang on in the second half when JMM steps it up

Great matchup. At 140 Cotto is the much bigger puncher and JMM was a slow starter. If JMM can weather the early storm and get into a rhythm i like his chances

marquez is lucky he has a style that makes it hard for pac... its weird because even pac's performance against floyd that night would have beaten marquez too imo. if manny would have been patient he can outbox marquez as crazy as this sound. (a lot of the hater dont give pac enough credit for this, the mofo can box!)

if you look at all the times marquez got the better of pac, its always when manny gets reckless but when manny pick his shots and box he gets the better of the exchanges.
