i do think it's a hard task for Fury considering his time out of the ring but i'd be interested to see how many of you said Klitschko will smash him..

It does to do it effectively enough to slow someone down. Surely you heard people constantly referring to how Golovkin couldn't do it to Canelo for fear of being countered? For an exaggerated example of someone throwing to the body without knowing what he was doing, see Ruddock vs Lewis. The thing is Wilder coming forward with a body attack standing right in punching range is something hes never done by choice because he's not comfortable doing it. Hence the sitting back at range looking for one big bomb that has seen him falling behind in a few fights.

Just like with Ruddock and Golovkin, the fear of being countered impacted the ability to effectively go to the body. No such fear exists with Fury.

Anyone who gets badly hurt and knocked down by Sconiers always runs that risk. Fury can reach Wilder. Even low level guys have done it, but not consistently. Watch how different the game will look without Wilder having hes safety doing nothing at range. Wilder doesnt fight to break a man down. He doesn't fight to build up points through the jab or workrate. Its just, eventually catch you with the straight right. Not much of a well rounded game.
