He fought what I and many others believe was the best ww at the time Kell Brook in his backyard after a long layoff and stopped him for the IBF strap.

Kell Brook has the clearest win over Shawn Porter. Thurman and Garcia fights were very very close. Brook neutralized Porter almost completely. It was a clear 8-4 victory.

On top of that, who has dominated and stopped Peterson the way Spence did, other then the Matthysse K.O? That was different though, Spence actually broke Peterson down completely. Matty hit Peterson with a few big shots as Peterson was out of position.

How is it Spence fault no one top guys want to fight him except Mikey Garcia?

Mikey has only seen Spence fight at one level. He has not seen him at his best. He’s about to...

It seems like a tall order to everyone, but I do believe that he sees flaws in Spence that he can exploit.
The problem is that I feel they are close enough skill wise, and far apart enough size wise, that even if Mikey capitalizes on every deficiency Spence has perfectly, I still don't think it will be enough.

Mikey, doesn't have the legs to box him all night. He doesn't have that in and out movement of a pacquiao to make up for the reach difference, or to get out of range before spence fires back.

And the odds are Spence will be able to shrug off Mikeys shots. Mikey wont be able to shrug off Spences.

Add in that Spence commits to the body like few fighters in the sport today do, and its a almost a foregone conclusion that Mikey has little to no chance in this fight.

I like Mikey more than I like Spence, but this is just a bad matchup.

Him saying that he has spotted weaknesses in Spence is also for the fans - though every fighter has some kind of weak point.

He is a businessman first and fighter second. This fight does double or even triple the money of a Loma fight as Loma is still largely unknown except to hardcore fans.

If Garcia was ALL about legacy he'd fight Loma as that is a more winnable fight and this is an almost impossible win (but the money is so good) and there is little future earnings downside as long as his corner pull him out before too much damage is done. Whereas a loss to Loma would impact on future earnings.
I really like Loma but I dont see how a Loma win would be legacy over Spence.

Omar Figueroa said Spence hit him with a punch that he still feels to this day and it was landed 11 FREAKING YEARS AGO. Mikey is going to get very hurt.

Hard to disagree with that. Hope you're wrong though.

Well, you know what they say about triangle theories. They mean zero, and that is probably especially true when Porter is part of that triangle.
