You know, for all I keep saying how much of a mismatch this is, I am clicking on EVERY ARTICLE that has either of these guys attached to it. Fine, I will admit it..

I am excited for this fight. It really is interesting. These are two P4P fighters in their prime squaring off. How often does that happen? The closer it gets, the more pumped I will probably get. Sure, any rational boxing enthusiast knows how this will most likely end, but dang it I am a fan. I do not need to be rational.

Garcia is a man for stepping up to Spence at his weight, never even asked for a catch weight. Spence just wanted a headline fight. If they are both in, I sure as crap am.

Garcia is going for the glory, and although the odds are heavily against him, at least he isn't afraid to try. If he is to get the shock upset, it would be via a boxing clinic on points, not a Pacquaio vs De La Hoya type result for the smaller guy.

I like Mikey as a fighter. But..... I'm doubting all this talk about legacy. That is for his fans.

Him saying that he has spotted weaknesses in Spence is also for the fans - though every fighter has some kind of weak point.

He is a businessman first and fighter second. This fight does double or even triple the money of a Loma fight as Loma is still largely unknown except to hardcore fans.

If Garcia was ALL about legacy he'd fight Loma as that is a more winnable fight and this is an almost impossible win (but the money is so good) and there is little future earnings downside as long as his corner pull him out before too much damage is done. Whereas a loss to Loma would impact on future earnings.
