I think it is because he hasn't stepped up to HW yet. He needs that first fight, and then he becomes marketable. Miller VS. Usyk. Is there any way possible there could be a more contrast in fighters? From size, to fighting styles, strengths and weaknesses, those two could not be more opposite. For instance: Usyk actually does cardio.

Chisora would be a HUGE step up for Miller, and I am assuming he loses to Whyte. I may be willing to take a flier on Chisora to win depending how he looks against Whyte. He looked really good against Takem, not great in the 3 losses leading up to that fight. If he is serious, he could handle an untested Miller.

Usyk´s next fight will be at Heavyweight and he has the right to trigger the WBO mandatory status. Btw Usyk only wants to fight the best and the worst out of them is Chisora.

I kind of forgot the WBO rule, so yeah that is a thing. I totally agree about Usyk. He won't waste time.

As for Chisora, you are most likely right. But I would love to see Miller step up. He has done a good job moving up the ladder, so it is not a criticism at all. He and his team have done this the right way in building him up. But until I see him beat at least a fringe top 10 HW, I am having problems taking him serious. Chisora could beat him if he is hype.

It's more likely that if Whyte loses and doesn't face Joshua that Joshua faces Pulev as it's only a matter of time before the IBF set a date for his mandatory.

So maybe we'll get Joshua/Pulev and then Whyte/Miller and Usyk/Chisora on the undercard. You'll need a strong under card if the main event is Joshua/Pulev as that's a mismatch.
Well, that's what the cynical side of me was thinking - but apparently I need a more positive outlook, so that was me trying positivity.

My guess is Hearn wants the winner of Dellboy vs Whyte to take on Miller in early Feb (maybe), then the winner takes on Joshua in April.
