Comments Thread For: The Other Half of Junior Welterweight

By Cliff Rold - Jr. welterweight might be headed towards a showdown. This comes as a shock to me, I never thought that the WBSS jr. welterweight tournament could produce another lineal champion -- IF its Regis Prograis ( #1. ) vs. ( #2. ) Josh Taylor in the finals for the Ali trophy. I was happy with a unification but this is the icing on the cake!

Could care less about unification. I am a fan of Prograis, and these are all legit fun fights.

They could make an unofficial super tournament.

        Prograis vs relikh
        Taylor vs baranchyk

        Hooker vs saucedo
        Ramirez vs linares

        For the quarter finals.

I'm hoping for Prograis vs. Baranchyk in the WBSS finals! In the meantime, Ramirez vs. Linares! Make It Happen!

You "could" care less about unification? So you care about it.

Ahh yesss..... the Grammar Patrol. You are of course correct, and there is a line in a Weird Al Yankovic song to back you up, which makes it gospel.

One thing I love about boxing...Talent never stops coming. Most probably thought 140 was done after Crawford unified and moved up but look how FAST all this new talent at 140 Suddenly emerges!

Lets hope Arum will make winner of WBSS vs Ramirez but the winner of WBSS probably go make themselves a lot of money and just right in the middle of a LOADED 147 division where it is a lot of money and big match ups to be made
