Comments Thread For: Gilberto Ramirez, Jesse Hart Promise a War on December 14

It was one of the best fights of 2017. WBO super middleweight world champion Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez had Jesse "Hollywood" Hart down and nearly out in the second round, only for Hart to come back with a furious late-rounds rally. Ramirez ultimately prevailed via unanimous decision that September evening in Tucson, Ariz., but Hart, the Philadelphia native with the legendary last name, had rematch on his mind immediately after the decision was rendered

There are obese stoners out there with more ambition than Zurdo.

Should be a very good fight. Strong chance Hart pulls off the upset.

Hart was in it till the later rds. I enjoyed that entire fight card that night. Itll be a bit more technical this time I bet but still be action pact. Hart has heart.

Yikes, instead of moving fwd w/t his career Zurdo keeps backtracking. It’s time Arum gave him a unification fight w/t Uzcategui instead of recycling past opponents.

Zurdo has plateaued due to weak competition, this will be a competitive fight

Hart isn't a bad opponent but this has been mandated by the WBO yeah? Hoping for a unification fight after this one.

Ironically Hart lacks heart, and doesn't have that willingness to pay it all on the line to win a fight. Zurdo has the better chin and more balls, will win another decision in similar fashion.

Low key into this rematch. Hart did better than expected the first time around. Definitely a winnable fight for him & its possible this could become a legit rivalry which would be great for TR & both fighters.
