Well, it appears Fox is going to get the espn-like mismatches. Fox will get all the fights where it is an elite boxer with a name against an opponent. They could have just announced Thurman-TBA, Garcia-TBA, LSC-TBA.

It is boxing so there is always going to be these mismatches, rather it is for a tune-up, stay-busy fight, coming back from a loss fight, or just plain cherry picking. Still, they should really put at least a couple good fights on network t.v. Showtime has to be happy, they get all the fights they want and Fox will take all the crap that Showtime turns down. It is good in that we will get mismatches instead of inactivity and no fights, but this isn't going to expand boxing and get new fans.
