I can understand the Thurman and Garcia tuneup fights.....Santa Cruz has no excuse for this fight.

I get that Garcia is coming off an L so he isn't going to be going against a killer but Leo Santa Cruz has no excuse for fighting a bum. Terrible mismatch. I would have rather seen Thurman fight Granados and Garcia face Berto. Those would have made more sense.

If Leo wasn't gonna fight Russell next he should have fought someone else with a bit more of a pulse.

What makes Berto better than Granados? Granados gave Porter a better fight than Berto did and arguably beat Broner. I'm fine with that fight.

Leo on the other hand? Nah, what the hell is the hold up on the GRJ fight? That should be next. Leo only fought once in 2017, and you're telling me they couldn't have put this fight on the December 1 card? Sure Leo gets paid well, but can't imagine Flores getting a big purse. Would have made a lot more sense putting that fight on the PPV than Ortiz/Kauffman or Joyce/Hanks.
