If I'm in Eddie Hearns, my goal is to make every fight with AJ a favorable, $-driven fight. I would:

-Try my hardest to get a fight with Usyk and a popular heavyweight in the UK, Dillian Whyte particularly. Build him up as a name, since most people in the UK at least know of him after his great KO of Bellew.
-Build an AJ vs Wilder fight (although Fury could spoil that...) in the U.S. by having AJ fight someone like Miller in Las Vegas.

From that point on, I would have the possibility of having Wilder vs AJ in the U.S. (assuming Wilder wins), or Fury vs AJ in the UK (if Fury wins). The other big fight would be Usyk vs AJ (assuming Usyk beats Whyte).

So essentially, it would be two big fights for AJ. The only problem here, is figuring out which one is the biggest risk. I would want to make that fight last. If Wilder knocks out Fury, I would be willing to make that fight first, since Usyk would probably be having his first heavyweight bout around that time, anyways. Then, I would make the Usyk fight after he beats Whyte (or if he somehow loses... on to Whyte vs AJ, lol).

Of course, a big wrench gets thrown in if Fury manages to showcases some brilliance and beat Wilder. Nobody knows what level we'll see Fury at, but he did comfortably beat Klitschko. I would be afraid of putting in my prized cash cow against an opponent like that. From there, I would go for the Usyk fight (depending on how he looks vs. a heavyweight like Whyte), and then making the Fury fight later.

I don't mean this offensively, I do like you Mister Teller, but what the hell're we talking for then?

Makes sense for Usyk to establish himself at heavyweight first. This has the potential to be a huge fight, right now it's just another fight for Joshua, casuals don't really know who Usyk is, it has to be built up. Critics will say someone is ducking but in reality it's simply good business. Why make the fight now when it does maybe 1 mill buys when a year or 2 down the line it could do well over a million.

Hearn knows what he's doing. Just look at how he's built Whyte into a stand alone PPV draw, he's about to have his 2nd PPV fight. Bellew has had 3 big PPV fights in a row. You have to build a fighters following and build them into big fights. If Wilder and Fury had been slowly built up it probably wouldn't be struggling to sell tickets right now.
