I think that is very prudent. Let him get his feet wet first before challenging for the title. Just so he could test to see how well his body acclimates and adapts to the higher weight division.

He'd better stay retired. That fight would be a mismatch. Usyk to send him to intensive care unit in 5rds...

Totally agree. He's an outstanding fighter, but realistically he needs first to put on several pounds to be competitive and then test himself at a higher weight with somebody close to his size, before going balls to the wall against the monsters (Joshua, Fury, Wilder). The guy is smart and knows that...

I would like to see Usyk take 2 or 3 fights at heavyweight to see if all this is a good idea or not..

coWard would have to come Usyk’s back yard for that (UK or UA). HBO is dead, DAZN/UK is running this now, so if he ever did comeout to fight therr, he would get panalized for all the dirty tactics he used to win his fights with. Those european reffs/judges would nail his azz, Usyk would **** him silly, too fast, too slick, too technical and send him back to where he belongs - retirement..

How would he ruin his plans? No, seriously? Firstly, he needs to bring a reason to fight him, fighting Ward needs to align with Usyk's career objective, which is to fight at HW. Money? That would be the only reason to fight Ward.

Ward is too small to fight Usyk, it would be ****** of him.

And last, but not least: Ward will lose even with corrupt Vegas judges. Just because Usyk is bigger. And better. Yes, better. And also, unlike Ward, Usyk isn't a dirty fighter with judges in his pocket.

Agreed. One fight is not enough. First fight could be top 15. Second - top 10 and third - top 5 (unless he wants to skip top 10). If he passes through top 5 - then AJ. Perhaps 2020.

He can KO Wilder right now without a tune up.
