I think he is just a likeable guy, which is also why I hate when they have him on table during match room fights being a company man as away from that ****e he is enjoyable enough. As for achievements, he has been a world champion, starred in rocky and got to punch David Hayes repeatedly. That's would have almost any boxer happy.

Re
First time I ever seen or heard of him, he was an opponent for Adonis Stevenson's belt, and looked quite ordinary, in the knockout loss.
He beat down BJ Flores, the FOX boxing announcer...okay
...Cleverly is overated, Kovalev created the pelvic thrust taunt while pummeling him
...
He beat Haye, whi we know is shot, twice.
So...I dunno.. world class?!Comment

He was OK technically, he had slow plodding feet though. He was also pretty upright and stiff, and only seemed to throw the same few combinations in his whole career to me. He did have decent power and a fairly good ring IQ.Bellew was very cagey , good technically and a very dangerous counter puncher. It was his conditioning let him down imo vs Usyk, he was not very physically strong or fit as he needed to be (prob dropping the weight rather than maintaining good lean CW Mass) but very dangerous guy.
Anyone that thinks Bellew was a crude slugger because of the way he looks or talks doesn't know the sportComment

If someone dares to ask what's wrong with boxing, just tell them Bellew just made 4 million pounds in his last bout. That should shut them up.Comment
