I didn't claim Wilder was losing to Szpilka. I stated he lost multiple rounds. Even if Wilder was winning at the time of the stoppage, the fight was still very close to even. Wilder wasn't up by a big margin.
Szpilka is a blown up cruiser weight who carries plenty of pounds of fat. Let's not act like Szpilka is somehow a more legitimate / credible heavyweight, than Usyk is.
Both are southpaws! However, Usyk is SIGNIFICANTLY more skilled than Szpilka with even better movement, footwork, guard and durability. So if Wilder needed 10 rounds to FINALLY KO Szpilka, what makes you think he'd do any better against a far better Usyk?
Wilder got a premature, standing stoppage against Duhaupas in the 11th round where Duhaupas was literally making Wilder miss his last 2 punches before he was prematurely stopped. Wilder didn't legitimately finish Duhaupas off! And why was that? It was due to Duhaupas's high guard which was giving Wilder hell.
Wilder couldn't KO Bermane Stiverne in the first fight when Stiverne was still in his prime. Once again, it was due to Stiverne's high guard.
Even shot Chris Arreola exposed Wilder's power when he pretty much walked through him for close to 10 rounds, and was only pulled out after he sustained an injury. Wilder COULD NOT KO CHRIS ARREOLA! Once again, coming down to a very simple utilization of a high guard.
In Usyk, Wilder will be fighting a guy with FAR BETTER MOVEMENT AND SKILLS than Artur Szpilka, who also utilizes a high guard like Johann Duhaupas and Chris Arreola, but at a higher level.
Claiming Usyk has no chance to beat Wilder is flat out delusional!
If the likes of Duhaupas, Molina and Arreola can last 10 or so rounds against Wilder, whilst also badly damaging Wilder and whilst also winning rounds in the process, then Usyk can ABSOLUTELY do better.
