Yeah, Usyk lost some rounds to Bellew but trying to translate that into "actually Usyk isn't good" is the king of weak takes. I know Bellew looks like a bigger version of Karl Pilkington with a beard and sounds thick but he's actually a pretty crafty and decent boxer with a solid record and a lot of experience, and at the end of the day despite a shaky start the fight still ended with Bellew slumped over the ropes after a period of complete control over the fight by Usyk. The guy surely has to have 2018 Fighter of the Year nailed on. Like others have said, CW turned out to be a pretty strong division and Usyk completely unified it. Anyone who totally unifies a division has major P4P credentials imo. This is why I want there to be regular WBSS tournaments for every division if possible, its the best mechanism we currently have for figuring out the true elite fighters are in this era of ****** numbers of belts.
The Usyk hype as bad as the Loma hype?

Oh man I remember there was a guy with McNulty av who said "I can't see Loma beating Rigo under ANY circumstances" "size doesn't matter" and all that. After the fight he was like "Rigo was too small...Loma doesn't deserve credit". And I'm okay with that weight excuse but maybe it's better to talk that **** after it's all said and done?Comment

LOL! Like it isn't a two way street dude. I don't give an f about the race of guys. But I see this crap going on all over and actually it isn't a two way street, it is coming from all directions. Racial and ethnic BS.
If you don't think Loma and Usyk aren't two of the best P4P boxers in the game right now you either don't know boxing or you got another agenda.Comment
