    Usyk slow starts

    Anyone know why that happens?

Michael Hunter, Briedis, Mchunu and now Bellew

He tries to feel out his opponents to find out their patterns. Briedis is a great fighter and Bellew is unpredictable.

Mchunu not Makabu but yeah he always starts slow, he can lose first half of the fight easily and dominate the rest

Yes, he can lose rounds early on but how many rounds does he lose after the 6th round? Only Briedis won rounds after the 6th against him. Maybe Venter as well?

Usyk is getting bashed for letting Tony blow his gas tank. That's like bashing Ali for rope-a-doping.

That Cutthroat guy seems to love Andre Ward and hate everything to do with Eastern Europe and kidbazooka is just a lost hope. Might be the same person for all I know.

I agree they have this great style the Ukrainian style where they breakdown the opponent as they drain them in the later rounds him and Loma.

It's a strategy, that may cost him against a better or stylistically more challenging fighter. Imagine him vs wilder, who'll pepper him with jab but won't tire out.

He takes a little too long for my taste.
