Comments Thread For: Frank Warren Praises Bellew For Taking The Usyk Challenge

TONY BELLEW deserves a lot of credit going up against one of the best in the world tonight. I have to say, it would be a big shock if he pulls it off against Oleksandr Usyk at Manchester Arena.

Bellew may be the bigger puncher. What is good for him is that Usyk is not a great one punch ko puncher. Usyk's technical boxing ability makes him a favorite, and that he is undisputed champion. But he has to beat Bellew for his first reasonably big name, as people don't know of Gassiev and most cruiserweights. If he wins well, then he can fight J. Miller or Ortiz and see how he goes, before thinking of one of the heavyweight champions.

Tell me about it. However, he has no choice but to. Everyone man and his dog thinks Bellew has an impossible task but the fact that he truly believes he can do it s admirable.

Bellew to hit the canvas in the 4th round...... Bellew to hit the canvas in the 9th round and stay there.

2/1 Bellew starts crying at the end of the fight and Hearn is clapping
20/1 Bellew as an oxygen mask on at any stage he is in the ring

It would be too early for him to fight Ortiz. Miller, yes.
