They could easily put the Chavez fight at the other site which is more sense logistically since this fight will NOT be part of the PPV but it seems like they adding it to the Staples Center to try and help boost ticket sales by attracting Mexicans to come to the venue. Even though this is a trash bag fight with 1 disgraced fighter and a totally shot fighter who has no business still fighting let alone fighting at 168. But the theory is if we going to throw this all mexican trash bag fight anywhere might as well put in in LA not Canada.

I used to be a fan but after the excessive stalling and bum bashing, I couldn't logically support him anymore.

          Per Fat Boy Dan

Former middleweight titlist Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is returning to the ring.

The son of Mexican legend and Hall of Famer Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. will face Mexican countryman Alfredo Angulo on Dec. 1 on the undercard of the heavyweight world title fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Showtime announced on Friday.

However, the scheduled 10-round super middleweight fight will not be part of the four-fight Showtime PPV event. Instead, Chavez-Angulo will be part of a split-site doubleheader that will air on Showtime and for free on the network's YouTube and Facebook platforms beginning at 6:45 p.m. ET as a lead-in to the pay-per-view at 9 p.m. ET.

So you expect fans to show up to Staples 3:45pm on west coast time??? Good luck with that. That bytch will be empty as phuk. Even if it were on the East Coast maybe you could get fans to show up at 6:45PM to catch the Chavez fight. But way too early out west.

            This should be a barnburner.

Chavez-Angulo is a disgrace. Utter dog shiet. Angulo’s only competitive weight class was 154 and he’s been shot a long time. He lost to Freddy’s freaking Hernandez. Smh. Showtime should have demanded a defent opponent. A Dirrell brother, even Caleb Truax is better than this trash.
You know exactly why Jr/Angulo is on the card and why SHO is airing it. Jr while being pretty much a bum still commands a big purse and SHO had to pay this outside of the PPV revenue that will mainly go to Wilder/Fury. And Jr should help the ticket sales though I'd probably have put it on PPV as it would help the buys. Though again, the issue with that is the guarantees for Wilder/Fury.

yeah this is bizarre if you want to add Chavez to attract fans at least put that bytch on the PPV and later in the night. The early start time means most fans won't even be in the venue and does nothing to help the actual PPV buys. Strange move.

PBC doesn't seem to know how to put together a good show.

And this goes back all the way to their early days, when they cut out fighter entrances.

                  They haven't learned sh¡t.

Free fight on Youtube...I can't complain about it Neither have much defense and neither move their head so it will be entertaining while it last
