Nah Whyte is AJ mandatory with WBO. With Whyte, Usyk, and Miller at DAZN AJ has no shortage of big money fights.

He attempted to do just that but they chose to fight Povetkin instead; Right when Team Wilder was about to sign the contract. They left several key logistical points blank on the contract like: Date, venue and opponent.

When Finkel asked for a revised version of the contract, Team Joshua panicked by contacting the WBA about fighting his mandatory Alexander Povetkin, just as Deontay Wilder was about ready to whoop that ass. Eddie panicked and withdrew the contract for he can sign it because they were bluffing.

They didn't have any real intentions of fighting the Bronze Bomber anyway. We should have known that When Joshua turned down the $50 Mil he requested but eventually turned down.
