After Dec 1, the whole world would take notice of you. This would mark your second victory over an undefeated elite heavyweight in a row.
Luis Ortiz is elite based on what exactly? He might be top 5 because of how bad the HW division is, but he's hardly elite. What has he accomplished as a boxer either as an amateur or professional? Joseph Parker has done far more than Ortiz and he isn't being labelled elite.

I think I get it though, Ortiz is elite because it makes Wilder look better but when Ortiz fights Anthony Joshua he will then be considered an aging PED abusing underachieving bum that AJ aged out and then cherry-picked.

I Feel sorry for those people who deal with those people on daily basis.

Sorry to burst you bubble of ill informed generalisations.
Romany gypsies are present in the UK. There are Irish travellers too, also referred to as gypsies.(there is also a degree of mixing of the populations to some extent).
All have a history of being vilified.

I like your demonstration of not knowing what 'UK'and 'Britain' actually mean. You got yourself off to a flying start there.

          It depends entirely on context.
When it's used to define people as being lower than yourself by right of birth, it will rightly cause offense.
There is a tone spread all over this thread in a few posts that the posters feel free to apply which they wouldn't apply to other contingents of the population.

Exactly, but we're dealing with the new nationalist mentality online who have been shown an open gate recently.
Easy promo shot by Wilder who knows fine it will make for clickbait articles in the run up to the PPV.

I hate that word. Why is it racist to identify someone by their race?!?

When I was a kid you could call a spade a shovel and you could call a guy by the name he chose for himself whether it had racist/offensive connotations or not.

                  These days, well.....

We create the context. Words just pick up meaning as they take on different meanings. Words are Amoral. They are not ethical, or unethical.

People cause offense by the way they choose to use a word. This gives the word more power than it should have because after all, it is a word.

My friend one does not need a magic word to insult another human being. Words help, they are a toolbox, but just as guns don't shoot people, words don't insult people, in both cases people do the action and use the instrument.

Why does this matter? because simply saying that calling someone a cracker is an insult the same way as using the N word (which always gets rubbed out on the site lol) happens not to be true. That does not mean one cannot insult a white person with words though! There just does not happen to be a magic word for that like the N word.
