I used to like Ward a lot but I hate how people have turned him into some saint. He's a really good fighter, there's no doubt about that but he's somehow elevated to some crazy status. I remember before the Kovalev fight how easily he was supposed to be this robotic, euro/Russian style guy who had only beaten Pascal and a 50 year old Hopkins. Didn't look to be on that level after their first fight and wasn't dominating Kov in the 2nd fight. Was Kov probably done? yeah. Has crazier things happened? yeah. I still feel a bit curious as to why Ward's back was a little more marked up than I've ever seen it, considering he was more bulked that fight. He's a great commentator and knows his stuff, but he's not free from having his own amount of bull****.

It's been consistent yeah and obviously moving up a division he's gonna put on muscle but for that fight he was noticeably bigger, to me at least, than his other fights at 175. It's just too weird of a coincidence that at only 33 years old, he suddenly has back marks. We've always been unsure of Kovs chin and it was right on the money from Ward so I might let that slide that suddenly he put someone on ***** street like that. I never throw out usage at a fighter and I still won't, but too many people put Ward on this mythical level and I think he's as full of **** as the rest of them.

Who cares about Ward...in a neutral situation (judge/ref/venue/Marquess de Queensberry rules) Ward would be a nobody in boxing and would have had to retire a long time ago because he sucks/can't compete at the top level without fouling/special treatment (and not just retire to avoid his mandatories in Bivol/Beterbiev)

Ward was using steroids. He deliberately made it clear that only he can announce the rematch, which solely was for the purpose of him doing a cycle for three months, and when he tested clean , he announced the rematch.

This is a well known fact in the boxing community, but since the painted Kovalev as this racist Russian it was overlooked and excused. The low blows clearly was roid rage after the frustrated Ward couldn't put Kovalev down.

Lol dude these things are in black and white...1) dropped a belt rather than face Dirrell...2) all fights in Super Six were at home rather than at the opponents' place or neutral site, even though Ward was not a top ranked guy going into the tourney...they set that tourney up for him to win...SMW has NEVER been a premier division and was not when he was there either...and Welter definitely wasn't the top one then either...just trying to prop Floyd up I bet :0 haha.

3) study Ward's career for 5 minutes. He is a shady mker. Sued his promoter, backed out of fights claiming injury, dropped belts rather than face guys, has been notoriously hard to negotiate fights with. Those are facts!! He is a HALFWAY CROOK!!! That's all he is and you should know it too boy!!!

I mean - you saw how the rematch was announced exactly 3 months before the fight? You know how testing these days works right? Look at other similar fights and when they are announced. Canelo and Floyd's fights come to mind. A lot of these guys are probably cheating but to ignore the fact that a lot of fighters, Ward included, are announcing fights exactly 3 months from the time of the fight when they know they will be cycling off the drugs and won't be caught, is incredibly ******. Then you have the nerve to try and act smarter than people on here!! Lol you are a fool!!
