Ward would have beat both easy imo, I’d have backed him to stop both too (especially after Kovalev fights) , too big, too skillful and too smart, people can argue Canelo has the better skills but would have been bullied and taken out by a prime ward.Comment

GGG syle would of been much easier for Ward.
Canelo would survive. I actually would of like to see that fight. I don't think Canelo would really know what to do with the dirty inside tactics???Comment

The Golovkin from 2015 and earlier would've been more competitive with Ward than people would like to imagine. I've been on record years back saying Ward would likely beat GGG but it would never be the whitewash most would predict.Comment

Golovkin went life and death with Danny Jacobs
Ward is way bigger and way better than Jacobs
I think Golovkin would have been outclassed and beaten upComment

Sorry but I'm never taking an athlete on that side of 30. He was a few weeks shy of 35 against Jacobs. It's been clear to me as early as the Brook fight something had changed. Even Hopkins mentioned how his punches didn't look as sharp. Actually the Wade fight I noticed some change too now that I think about it. That's why I said from 2015 and earlier. I've seen enough from each fighter in their prime and, although obviously my opinion, it would be more competitive than people think. Despite what you may think of them as fighters, for both Findley and Boone to favor GGG says at least something about his skills. I wouldn't necessarily put money on him but they saw something while in the ring with him. We'll never know though so it's a moot point.Last edited by AKAcronym; 11-07-2018, 06:27 PM.Comment
