Shouldn't Hopkins fighting Kovalev been proof enough of this?

People keep comparing this fight to ggg brook but thats soo far off! The biggest win of brooks career was beating porter by a narrow margin. He really didnt have any one else on his resume.

Mikey is a 4 division world champion. Going from 140 to 147 is not a huge jump. Mikey has a world title at 140. Brook fought basically the majority of his fights at 147 and jumped a true 2 wt classes to fight ggg. Mikey is a lb for lb better fighter than brook.

i wish people would stop comparing the two its just not the same. Whether ur 140,147, 135 ur basically still by all standards little. At 160 ur no longer little ur actually a medium sized man. Going from 47 to 60 is a hugee jump rather than going from
        135 or 140 to 147.

Mikey will have a much greater chance to win than kell brook ever did facing ggg.

Yeah, calling it risky is an understatement

4 time champ....name the fighters mikey beat for those belts without looking it up..... atleast we all know porter even the casuals.... comparison is pretty accurate.... fight the big guy, keep ur bum belts, get praise for fighting the bogey man, go back down and fight the guys in ur true weight class...if ur gonna lose get paid and do it against someone that nobody expect you to win....win win for mikey but that beaten might be his last fight

              Good stuff.
ah the whole ducking narrative by the usual suspects. The fighters you claim are the boogeyman usually are the ones who lose in the end.

              Mayweather/Pac

              GGG/Canelo

              Ward/Kovalev

If Salido can beat Lomancheko, then Mikey beating Loma isn't a far stretch.

Orlando Salido already gave your boy that L
