I love when a big man shows boxing skill like Usyk does. Massive respect for the guy. But, I hate the idea of him being a HW because he has no power. Guys like Wilder and AJ have no reason not to walk through his punches in order to land bombs. That's just how this stuff works in boxing.

Usyk is levels above Szpilka in every respect and he doesn't make novice mistakes like that. No reason to think he couldn't do what Szpilka did, and more, for the whole 12 rounds.

I agree he could get knocked out bad vs. Wilder but he could also out-box him.

I agree with this guy. Weightclasses exist for a reason.

Usyk isn’t going to fight wilder for a while regardless, he signed up for matchrooom for his chance for he big money - something wilder won’t bring.

He already has Bellew on Ppv butlikely he will take on other matchroom heavyweights first before taking on Anthony Joshua? Size matters though and you would think both AJ and Wilder should be far too big if they connect

That is the best fight to make in boxing. It really is. #1 vs. #2 p4p.

Both would beat Joshua. Joshua seems to be genuinely terrified of Wilder, so Usyk will probably be the one who gets to beat him. I don't know... Usyk can outbox anyone, but one punch from Wilder can end any fight at any second. Both are about 215 in the ring and can humiliate top heavyweights 25 pounds or more heavier. Wilder-Usyk is a toss-up. 50-50.

Usyk and Wilder are about the same size. Wilder was 214 in the ring his last fight, which is about what Usyk weighs in the ring for his fights at cruiserweight.

That is how good Wilder is. Oh, that top p4p guy who weighs the same as Wilder? Yea, he would get hurt against Wilder. lol.

Usyk is better than many people think. Yea, Wilder or AJ can ko him IF they land a clean, power shot. Usyk can also outbox either one for 12 rounds IF he can avoid getting hit flush with a power shot.

This was a semi serious thread btw.

Loma did an interview and they asked him how Usyk (who is one of his best mates) would do at heavyweight and Loma said he didnt really want to comment but if it was him he wouldnt be in a rush to face the big guys at heavyweight.

And loma knows his boxing. Usyk is a way better boxer than wilder or joshua but those two would have a HUGE margin for error in that fight, Usyk wouldn't have any.

You seem oblivious to the fact that punching power varies in fighters. By your logic, Paulie and Manny should have the same punching power, being the same weight. Come back when you get a grasp of the basics.
